If Labor and the Greens and the Teals get their way, the Aussie economy will die a slow and painful death.
Cost of living pressures are keeping many Australians awake at night.
Talk to any tradie, hospitality or retail worker and they will tell you about the financial quicksand they are trying to wade their way through every single day.
In the Labor/Greens/Teal Canberra bubble, we see Treasurer Jim Chalmers hoodwinking the electorate by telling us otherwise.
Chalmers told the National Press Club: “What we are now creating together is Australia’s fourth economy by grasping the vast industrial and economic opportunities of the global net zero transformation.”
Yes, you read that correctly.
Chalmers is pinning Australia’s future economic prosperity on the vast creation of restrictive, expensive wind turbines and damaging solar panel projects across the country to reach net zero emissions.
This will drive up your power bills even further. Not to mention the destruction they will cause to regional communities.
Mass polluters like China and India sit back and laugh at just how ridiculous this is. They do as they please.
The Greens, take this to another level of extremism. They myopically evangelise this far-fetched, costly climate change religion to anyone who will listen.
The so-called ‘net zero transformation’ that Labor and the Greens are obsessing over is minimised by CSIRO data confirming that Australia is responsible for producing just over 1 per cent of global emissions.
Living in some alternate reality, the Greens “climate action policy” tries to convince us of an environmental Armageddon: “We are in a climate emergency. It threatens the safety of people, our health, water, ability to grow food, and the air we breathe.”
There’s no doubt the Greens will be backing Labor after the next federal election if there is a hung parliament.
“If the polls are right, Australia is headed for a shared-power parliament after the next election” Greens leader Adam Bandt said this week.
“The Greens will be pushing for no new coal and gas in (such a) parliament.
“The Greens want to stop Labor from opening up new coal or gas.”
They will use this as leverage to vote out a minority Labor government and hold the country to ransom.
The Greens demand that we accept a climate change fantasy as if our lives depend on it, and it’s being rammed down our throats.
They are hell-bent on making “big corporations and billionaires pay their fair share of tax to clean up the mess they’re making, fund the transition to 100 per cent renewables and kick off a full-scale renewable export industry”.
The Greens will become the puppet masters in a shared power arrangement.
They will stop at nothing to achieve this forced mass conversion of hearts and minds to proclaim this expensive climate emergency fantasy.
Meanwhile, back in the real world: “The number of mortgage holders considered ‘extremely at risk’, is now numbered at 982,000 (18.9 per cent of mortgage holders)”.
The Greens are completely out of touch with the struggles and concerns of Australian working families, who are often juggling multiple jobs just to put food on the table and keep the lights on.
A power sharing arrangement with the Greens holding the purse strings would be an economic disaster for mainstream Australia.
The Greens do not care if you can make your mortgage repayments or buy food for your children.
They thumb their nose at everyday Aussies.
